About New world Uyghur Cuisine

Good map is the best

New world Uyghur Cuisine is an uyghur cuisine restaurant in Flushing, New York. It is listed at 136-20 Roosevelt Ave, Flushing, NY 11354, which places it among the local businesses of Flushing that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as diner, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Flushing and New York, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 AM–10 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach New world Uyghur Cuisine at (646) 920-0889; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, newworlduyghurcuisine.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 309 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded uyghur cuisine restaurant in Flushing.

Flushing is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Flushing is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Flushing has plenty of chinese food for sure, but I came to Flushing specifically to find uyghur food as you can't really find this type of cuisine in the US. And the food simply blew me away. I dont know how they make the lamb polo but that is probably one of the best rice dishes ive ever had. The lamb was so tender and rice was so flavourful. And the ηƒ€εŒ… (kao bao) was amazing too as it was filled w juicy sweet onions and beef. Absolutely great meal and Im glad I came here.

WARNING: Confirm the total before paying (and check your receipt)... I ordered Pearl Noodles for $16.99 with tax being $1.55, but was charged $19.19. The receipt showed exactly these three lines and nothing else, so an undisclosed and unrecorded fee magically appeared out of thin air. If there's a credit card fee then I'd totally understand, but it was never mentioned before I paid (when they asked "cash or card?") and didn't show up on the receipt. Unfortunately, the cashier took my copy of the receipt before I had a chance to take a picture. While some might say it's a "trivial difference", it leads me to question the principles and honesty of the business. On top of that, while waiting for my order, I observed one of the workers OPEN-MOUTH COUGHING (WITHOUT A MASK) as they were skewering the raw lamb kebabs. I'm SO GLAD I didn't order that. As for the food, I will say the portions are generous and well-seasoned. The noodles are homemade with a nice chewy texture, the lamb was tender and not overpowering, and the combination of ingredients created a very nice balance of salty/sweet/sour. Everything is prepared to-order and in the open (for better or worse) right behind the ord

When the food is THIS good… you have to eat with your hands 😭πŸ”₯ Found the most underrated Uyghur cuisine in Flushing’s New World Mall food court. Their Uyghur Polo came with a WHOLE lamb shank for $13.99 The Spicy Cold Chicken for $10.99 is crazy flavorful too. Authentic, affordable, and seriously satisfying. This is the Uyghur spot NYC needed. RUN.

Tasty food, generous portions, the fresh hand pulled noodles are very good, along with the rice, the lamb is juicy and seasoned perfectly. The Naan bread is hot and delicious. Came three nights in a row and plan on coming back. Food is consistently tasty. This place is located in the bottom level of the New World shopping center in the food court area, highly recommend this place.
